About Greg
Greg graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in real estate and began his career in 1983 with Henry S. Miller Companies in Dallas. As one of four partners and President of the Office / Industrial Divisions, he expanded the company’s operations and productivity to new heights by personally completing hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial transactions. After 31 successful years with the firm, he decided to pursue new adventures. Wanting to embrace his love of the outdoors while still continuing his career in real estate, he moved from Dallas to his ranch in Palo Pinto County and established Trout Real Estate. This allowed him to conduct land and ranch transactions locally and throughout the state. Greg has been fortunate to have traveled extensively in Fortune 500 circles of commercial real estate and has been a hands-on rancher for more than 30 years. As such, he possesses the experience and knowledge to assist you through the complexity of completing a successful transaction, whether it’s buying or selling a recreational/hunting ranch, working ranch or a place in the country to relax. He understands firsthand what it means to be a buyer, seller, rancher and investor, as he has vast personal experience in each of those positions. When not busy representing his long list of satisfied clients, Greg dedicates his time to causes he believes in. He is a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, a past board member of the North Texas Commercial Association of REALTOR®s, Society of Industrial and Office REALTOR®s, Benefactor and Life Member of the National Rifle Association, a recipient of the 2014 Texas Wildlife Conservation Award, and the recipient of the 2015 Palo Pinto Wildlife Conservationist Award. Greg and his wife, Lynda live on their ranch in Palo Pinto County and raise Brangus cattle.
